Marc Monroe is an American writer, who writes horror and dark fantasy novels and short stories.

Being born and raised in the South, Monroe has a wide variety of local lore and legend to draw from. However, for true horror, he can draw inspiration from his day job as a high school drama teacher with over 13 years experience.

With his overactive imagination and a background in performance and comedy, Monroe will make you paranoid of dark shadows and open windows, but will also make you laugh out loud.

Marc Monroe has been creating and telling stories his whole life through song, performance, photography, and writing. Monroe says, “It took grad school to build up my mental endurance, and I’m ready to write for the rest of my life.”
